The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed in regards to the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie SRD and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services level developed for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
